Get Derby With Us is the title of the Kentucky Derby Party I co-hosted today with my friends. It was a huge success. I drank a ton of bourbon and several juleps of all varieties--not just mint. Another friend made simple syrup in the blackberry, mango-basil, grapefruit-honey, and skinny mint flavors. What an overachiever. We were planning on just regular old mint, but it was so much more than that. I'll have another thank you very much. And how a propos that I'll Have Another won the Derby!
